Today I am 29 weeks. I am officially in my 3rd trimester and I have 11 weeks to go. That is less that 3 months! I am starting my doctors appointments every 2 weeks now for about 7 weeks (however that works out) and then weekly appointments. Because of recent events I have had to really cut back on my cravings of sweets. I still have them all the time for cupcakes, ice cream, and also coca-cola. Also I have to watch my carbs, so no more snacking on spaghetti noodles (which probably didn't help passing my glucose test in the first place!). At least all I have left is 11 weeks. It is scary but I'm getting ready. It is getting hard to put on my shoes, get up from bed, and sleeping. I find it very hard to find a comfortable position.
We finished our "Birthing Basics" class which wasn't too bad. Russel & I had a hard time watching the first video but then after you watch 4 or 5 it's not so bad. Not that I ever want to see it live. We also liked the nurse who taught our class so I think that made it more enjoyable. The last night we had a tour of the birthing facility. The actually labor/delivery room scared me a little. It was so small, and really warm and it just hit me that I would soon be there. The recovery room or the room I will spend two nights in was better and more roomy. Next up is the "Newborn Care" class which I am sure we will learn a lot in.
Well here is my new belly picture. I feel humongous already but I know it will only get bigger.

Good News/Bad News
Good News?
We finally have a ship date for our bedding! Amazon.com finally emailed us and said that our estimated ship date will be anywhere from January 29th-February 9th. It is 2 1/2 months after we ordered it but it is finally nice to have a ship date. If we wouldn't have gotten one soon we were going to start looking into an alternative which would have sucked. Of course I will still feel so much better when it actually arrives. I think the room will feel more finished when it's all in place. Also today we are heading to Shopko because this week they have a glider on sale. It is originally $239.99 and on sale for $99.99. I definitely wanted to get there today because the sale started yesterday and I can image they will go fast. It is a pretty good deal. Plus they only have three colors- Chocolate, Black, and Cider. The Cider color (a tannish) is the only one that will actually match the nursery.
Bad News?
Well January 12th I went in for my 1 hour glucose test and found out I had failed. I wasn't too worried because I had heard about alot of women who failed the first one and then passed the second one. The second one lasted about 3 1/2 hours. I had to count my carbs for 3 days before the appointment and fast after midnight the night before. When I got there they took my blood once, then I had to drink the glucose drink once more under 5 minutes. This drink compared to the first one was higher concentrated. It was so much sweeter and really gross. Then every hour on the hour for 3 hours I had my blood drawn. I didn't feel too well during that time because I could only have small sips of water and it was pretty boring just sitting there. You had to stay in the waiting room because they didn't want you moving around too much so I brought a book and my iphone. Plus they had a TV that I got to run so I watched Jeopardy and House Hunters the whole time. Well that night I found out I failed and I officially have Gestational Diabetes. I now need to watch my diet more and my sugar levels. I meet with my doctor tomorrow and plan on finding out more then. I just hope everything will be fine with the baby. I have also heard that women with GD have bigger babies! So that is something to look forward to. Ugh.

Names
We have narrowed down our baby's name to three different options. In the end it is our decision but I am very curious for your opinions. All you have to do is the click the one you like best. If you like two, or maybe there is one name you just don't like or have a strong opinion about, then you can leave a comment. Of course it doesn't mean we are going to take your advice but it is nice hearing feedback. =) One thing funny about the names we have chosen is that they all end in "on". One name is more popular, one is becoming popular, and one isn't popular at all. The middle name no matter what will be Scott. It is Russel's brothers middle name and I think it flows nicely with all the names and with the last name Oswald. Also, in case you were wondering we probably won't decide for sure until the baby is born. I always thought I would have the name picked out for sure before he got here but I think we are just going to maybe narrow it down to two and then make the final decision when he is actually here.

26 Weeks!
I am now 26 weeks today! That means only 98 days to go till our due date. It is getting closer and closer... On January 12th I go in for my one hour glucose test to determine if I have gestational diabetes. Two weeks after that I go back in for my normal doctor's appointment and then I will have appointments every two weeks after that because I will be in my third trimester! Before you know it I will be going to the doctor every week and then I will be in the hospital giving birth! It's hard to believe I only have three full months left and then a half a month. That is if I don't go early or late. The beginning of pregnancy went by so slow and now I feel like it won't slow down. This Wednesday we have our first birthing class which continues next Wednesday as well. It is just a basic class which will tell us about labor, our options, and walk us through the birthing center. In February we are taking a newborn care class that is one night. Also in February I am having my baby showers! Feb 6th I am having one in Tomah/Warrens and Feb 20th I have my other one in Eau Claire. I am very excited to see everyone and I am very excited to see my cousin Jackie who is due with her first baby 4 days after me and my friend Jaclyn who is due a week and a half after me. It will be fun to compare bumps!
Russel and I had a very good Christmas this year and Baby Boy Oswald got a lot of good gifts! He got some picture frames for his nursery, bath towels, an adorable robe with dog prints on it, pajamas, clothes, a teddy bear, and his first packers t-shirt. Thanks to his Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins for all the great gifts!!!
Being this far along in my pregnancy is treating me pretty good. I can eat a lot now (and I do!), I don't get sick, it can be a little uncomfortable to sleep but I now use a body pillow, and my belly is big enough but not too big.

Nursery
So we are still waiting for the baby's bedding. Amazon is now telling us they don't know when it will be shipped and some other websites say that it is on backorder until this month. I guess I didn't realize we picked such a popular bedding. Well we tried to order it on another website where it said it was $20 cheaper and would be shipped almost immediately and the order is still processing. I am going to wait till Wednesday and give them a call. Hopefully the backorder will be resolved soon because it would really suck trying to find a new bedding and one that matches the walls that just have been painted. Anyways, this past weekend we bought a bookcase/storage thing from Target that was on sale and I think it looks really good. It gives me room for totes (to hide toys or bibs) and also space to put books, picture frames, etc... Well, here is what the walls looks like now and the new bookcase. Also in the pictures is the changing table again, just to give you an idea of the setup. I am actually going to buy more totes (that were meant for the bookcase) and put them on the changing table for storage because I realized that they were cheap enough and don't look so bad. Also in a picture you will see a cradle. That actually won't be in there for long. I am washing the bedding for that and then it will go into our bedroom for the first few weeks. When we get a glider/rocker it will go where the cradle is now. The nursery would look so much more complete if we could just get the mattress and crib bedding. I also have a few things that need to go on the walls. And then maybe, just maybe, it will finally be all done.
